Luxury Brands Finding Success on Instagram

Walker Zanger - Jared Becker

Instagram has been a huge hit for many brands. Attracted by the simplicity of its image capturing and editing features, users have flocked to the platform that Facebook purchased for a cool 100 million.

Earlier this month Simply Measured, a social media analytics and reporting company, compiled a useful report tracking the use of Instagram by luxury brands.   Those profiled includes; Gucci, BurberryPradaRalph Lauren, and Tiffany & Co.  As cited by Simply Measured, of the companies represented in the Interbrand 100 Companies, these were selected for their success on the platform. If your product or client base is similar to these brands you may well find some helpful insights.

While 67 percent of companies in the Interbrand 100 Companies use Instagram, these top five luxury brands featured, on average, twice the level of engagement when compared to the entire list.

The report is available for viewing via SlideShare below.
